KY’s first lady combats human trafficking with new signage at racetracks

Britany Beshear, Kentucky’s first lady and wife of Gov. Andy Beshear, discussed her efforts to combat human trafficking through a statewide partnership with all nine of Kentucky’s racetracks.

The initiative aims to raise awareness and educate the public on how to recognize and report trafficking. Officials say signs in both English and Spanish will be posted at the racetracks, similar to those displayed at airports, hotels and convention centers.
