When asked how rising grocery prices have affected his family during a FOX 56 debate, Kentucky Republican congressional candidate Ralph Alvarado struggled to give a specific answer.
Alvarado said he and his wife grow much of their own food. When pressed about grocery costs, he admitted his wife handles most of the shopping and said he rarely goes to stores due to people recognizing him. Alvarado is running against Democrat Zach Dembo in Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District race.
