Rep. Morgan McGarvey (D-Ky.) criticized Republicans for backing President Trump’s request for an additional $95 billion tied to military operations in the Middle East, arguing the funding comes as Americans face rising costs for gas, groceries, and healthcare.
McGarvey also condemned Republicans for rejecting Democratic amendments aimed at lowering everyday costs and preventing taxpayer money from funding Trump’s proposed $400 million White House ballroom project.
