Gov. Andy Beshear says ICE’s tactics are more aggressive than those of any law enforcement agency he encountered as the state’s former attorney general. Citing recent deaths, injuries, conditions in detention facilities, and pressure from enforcement quotas, Beshear called for ICE agents to be withdrawn, fully retrained, and sent back only under a completely different approach.
